Efforts are being made to boost driving skills in Swansea. The Swansea Bay Group of Advanced Motorists is promoting the skills for life advanced driving course which is hailed as reducing your chance of having an accident significantly.

Member Sian Sullivan, of Brynteg, Llansamlet, said: "The course also makes you more aware of what is going on around you and makes driving much more enjoyable as you gain confidence."

The next monthly driving session is on Sunday, March 14, starting from Asda car park (next to the petrol station) at 10am in Morriston.

People have the chance to have their driving evaluated by advanced motorists and can be given tips on how to get the most out of their driving and what to look out for.
