Advanced drivers will be putting their skills to the test when they take on teams from the emergency services in Swansea. The Swansea Bay group of the Institute of Advanced Drivers is planning an event where advanced motorists from around South Wales compete in an obstacle course, a treasure hunt and Highway Code test.

Observer co-ordinator for the group Derek Evans said: "It is by invite only so teams from all over South Wales will negotiate a set course of obstacles to get the minimum penalty points."

The event will be held at the Visteon car park in Fabian Way on June 12.
